A Sick Child Poem by Nadim Lost Soul

A Sick Child

See here
A breath of new air.
A blessed child
With marbles in his hair.
A gifted treasure or maybe just a gift.
Who can be crushed and loved with only one kiss.
A fragile soul with a spirit of lions.
A disconnected hart with no guidance.
Walking to his purpose but chased by dogs.
A handicapped child who says it’s not my fault.
Tears in his hand waiting to condense.
Hoping for a normal life, just for one dance.
He smiles to the truth, but prays for a lie.
He looks to heaven to find god in the sky.
He evokes Eden because he knows he going to die
And everyday he asks god: Why? Oh Why?

Well well well, look who has more in common than he thought. I just wrote a poem called 'In Your Eyes' around the same topic, approx. I don't know what inspired your poem but mine was inspired by an 18yr old girl suffering from cancer.
