God please take away the misery

Please take away the pain

Take away the heartaches

And those tears that fall like rain



Please take away the burdens

And take away all the sin

Renew our faith dear Lord

So we shall worship once again



This simple prayer I ask of you

Though it sounds like so much

But we have enough faith in you

That You could do this in a touch



I pray this simple pray to you

For myself as well as my friends

And pray that you will follow through

And now I will end this Amen
