A single tear

Reported violence
by bombs near schools
remind me this world
is full of fools
a child was asked
how do you feel
she put her hand
right to her heart
the only answer
she could give
about her fear to live
was just her reminding gift
a silent cry
a single tear.

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
