A single telling line can make
A collection of words
Into a poem.

But how to find that line
And how to know
When it has come?

A single line can make a poem.

But who knows
When the iron strikes
And if the fire has come?
And whether in the darkness of the soul
Words are the rescuing light
of a poem?
