A Small Gift
A SMALL GIFT
There is so much more to this world
Than I will ever know-
Each of us so full of himself
Is nonetheless empty of so much else-
We are all small
However great we are-
Nothing I write can make me mean as much
As so many others
Who have written
And who will write.
God has given me a small gift
I should be thankful for it.
With it
I write these lines.
