A Sodden Thought
Upon awaking facing the day
Having a plan looking out to it
Hoping to fulfill the goals
Of activity, I wander
Suffering gently the loneliness
That pervades daily my life
Even with human contact
Equine passion canine companions
And the cat
I can't seem to hold fast on the idea
That someone will come to fill
My heart and be with me
As god may have destined me
Without companionship

Sometimes I also feel like that. An outburst of true emotions and thoughts. A good poem indeed.
