Across the world
On the beach
Up to the stars you look
As I sit here
Wishing to see those same stars
I think of you
Hoping your thinking of me
The heat tears me down day to day
But your smile brings me back up
The sand under your feet is the same
Yet so different
As you stand in sand of joy and happiness
I stand here in sand of pain and agony
Counting down the days
Till I can see you once again
Hoping that it will be sooner
Two weeks is not enough
Fifteen months gone is too long
The day that I can hold you again
That I can look into your eyes again
Know that everything will be alright
The sound of your voice is not enough anymore
I need to see you, Be with you
A couple more weeks, Everything will be better
