A Song Poem by Latha Krishnan

A Song

Rating: 5.0

They say, absence makes the heart grow fonder
But what if absence goes on and on? We wonder!
They also say, waiting brings rewards sweet
But what will our waiting bring, when we meet?

Messages aplenty we do exchange
Our conversations on life and music range
Days begin wishing each other good morning
And end with lovely screen pictures every evening.

Is this really how its going to be?
You will remain a beloved stranger to me?
Is it true that distance keeps us closer?
What will we do as more days pass, now that's a poser!

Someday hope the stars concede that we finally meet!
Or do we wait some more and then one another greet?
