A SONG FOR ALL

A dream lets out a clarion call
For a song for all - you and me.
A song for all is sometimes not to be sung.

This silent song is so melodious.....! A song for all which will 'make the cuckoo nostalgic' and 'its mute riches have no reverses'! ! A moderate sprinkle of fantasy and the visionary vista lend it a unique charm! (Report) Reply

A human ear can hear sounds from 20 cycles up to 20000 cycles. There are other sounds less than 20 cycles, which a dog or deer can hear or a snake can feel. Above 20000 cycles, it comes under ultra and supersonic sounds, which are fatal sounds. But as the poet says there are sounds, though silent, can be felt within ourselves. Take a sheet of paper and shake it. It gives a fluttering sound. The moving train or jet gives a lot of noise. How much sound the earth that rotates on its axis at the rate of 15 degrees per hour should make? But we don't hear them at all. God has made our ears in such way that we should hear those pleasant sounds only and not deadly sounds, so as to survive on this earth. Dinesah Nair's poem reflects the deeper sounds hidden within the hearts of a soul, which could be felt by that soul only. I like his idea very much. (Report) Reply

Dr. Nair- a very lovely thought is expressed here, that you hope for a song for all of mankind. I especially liked your last stanza. kate (Report) Reply

A song is a beautiful poem of some sort. I like the use of this word for the words it represents. The 'song' word has been mechanical by sound, yet I like the clever use of poetic expression, and the way a song has been mentioned by your very telling.
    Well done! (Report) Reply

    Dear Mr Denish Nair
I am delighted to read your poetry. I enjoyed this because I only know emotions through music and words. But I like the irony of our songs are usually our very silence that defines who we really are.
I think your potential in this poem radiates effortlessly.

Keep the strong work. (Report) Reply
