A Special Day Poem by Joseph Anderson

A Special Day

Rating: 4.9

Oh! Wedding day, that special day
Where hope and love reside;
The groom awaits-awaits his turn,
To claim the radiant bride.

Their time has come, love wins again,
Perhaps the angels sing.
This sacred ritual, when fulfilled,
Becomes a moving thing.

As all await, the time draws near,
Commitment fills the air;
Our hopes and fears, our smiles and tears
Attend this loving pair.

Today, this couple takes the vows,
That unifies their love;
May all the wondrous powers that be,
Send blessings from above.

This little piece (as in piece of a gem) is such a tender and delightful read. Completely warms the heart, and is a treasure for, not only newlyweds, but, all couples. Enjoyed very much.
