A Special Place Poem by Melvina Germain

A Special Place

Rating: 5.0

I wish to lay my burdens down,
walk away from this old town.
To a place so high above,
where I’ll find forever love.

I want to soar through an eternal realm,
Where you reside at the helm.
Finally stand close to your side,
no more tears or shame, no reason to hide.

To that place of peace and tranquility,
where no one will point a finger at me.
That place where I know I belong,
singing among the angels in heavenly song.

Mel, This is truly beautiful, not only for its sentiment, but for the wonderful flow. We all look forward to that special place away from all the everyday trouble and strife. Top marks and thanks for sharing this my friend. David
