A Speck of Duck

A Speck of Dust

Waiting upon the shores of eternity
A speck of dust comes down
To fly.
It runs amuck
And desires
Its niche in the sky.
Orders
Its interiorscape
Winds do mischief
It gets coy.
The interior is shaken
The calm broken
The mask floats
Sans wish or bye.

And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
