A Spider's Web Poem by Amelia Wasiluk

A Spider's Web

Resentments are like the weaving of a spider's web. The more you resent the bigger the web.  Until one day love captures your attention and let go to hang on one thread off that thing called LOVE!

That which you call love is the first step to inner freedom and peace.  The crisp and freshness of flowers, the fragrances, the chirping of  birds, the winds, the quietness of strolling through the woods, the stillness and the calm in the midst of a lake, yes all this as the essence of life is NOW viewed through the clear lens from that string that holds you in suspense and awed of the immensity of GOD's gift of creation and life. The exhilarating joy and quick heart palpitations that come from your child when he sees you smile with the lightness of being that only he can connect because he still knows what it is to be free.  Through the lens of his innocence he can only see the world that awaits him is not what he wants to be!

All of the sudden you find yourself in uni sense with the universe, how vast, how wonderful and how immense, yet how simple it is to live, love and be free.  Like the dust when broken into particles in the vastness of this universe, a simple speck that can wonder without a care only to be, aware of that which is forbidden and forbear to weave no more!

Like the speck, regarded as insignificant and lifeless is like the atom when disturbed from its alignment with its creation is nothing more than a thunder and lightening to say no more!
Thunders and lightening in the angry sky no longer seem to exist to keep me in that web, to disturb me no more!   but rather to thrust me into the dimension of this place called world.  With the inner confidence that I am and will be safe to be and explore!
The lightness of this being, like a feather in the sky I wonder through the ether that almost feels unbearable to know that within me was all I ever needed to set me free!

In harmony and aware the thorns in some bushes and roses no longer seem to bare the sting once gave me in lacking care.
How is it that in my dreams I only bared the dream of the Noble who never had a care.  With Innocence and courage the world took well care, of the snares that can tare that string that holds you from the scare cannot to be spared.  Love will always hold and keep you  so close to  what you care.

The essence of living is nothing more than LOVE, the single string that keeps us in synchrony with the Garden God has created for us to be in and care.

So with this in mind, LOVE has saved me from that which is called the spider's web or a snare.
