A Spirit Within Poem by Spiritwind Wood

I am everything you should be
no matter what the day brings
I look at it without any worry
and still fly high on Eagle wings

In my heart I forever carry
a love for all of life's true beauty
if you look deep inside my soul
there you would only see
a Spirit within through me flow

I live for the here and now
and still survive it somehow
I hold no hate for what is done
for there is always another rising sun
I am the light burning inside of me
and here I will forever remain free
