A Stanza In Praise Of Lust Poem by Lalit Kaira

A Stanza In Praise Of Lust

Rating: 4.8

Can you perish your need
For flesh and blood and heed
No love for paradise? Lust
O'hear only is the mover of the wheel
Cry not, spirit'd died, heal
Your wound, inhale the young gust.
Love love love! wait I remember
Bullshit your Self sure is in danger.

It seems to be a journey from desire to renouncing all desires. Nicely articulated. 'No love for paradise? Lust'

Lust is just a vain glorification of beauty. A nice piece written with insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
