A Star
It shines high up in the sky,
it twinkles and looks so bright,
it’s a speck in the dark night,
shining away in the universe so wide,
it’s a star, so dazzlingly white,
in the dark sky an amazing sight,
some say a star is a sign of someone who died,
some say a star’s a wishing well at a height,
whatever you say or think is right,
a star is a twinkling friend at night!
