A Step Away From Paradise
Just around the corner
My paradise seems to be,
Just a little out of reach
A step or two away from me.
I`m unable to clasp it
Or gently hold it by the hand,
I`ve not even been issued a sample
That would help me understand.
I`m sure there is a way
I can stretch a little more,
So at the very least
I could be knocking on the door.
I`ll keep trying to reach it
If ever I should make it there,
I won`t live in paradise alone
I`ll invite many more to share.
