In the heavy downpour
I see a stray
Not a cat nor dog
Or any other animal
The small poor stray I see
Is a little image of me
Shivering and shattering in the pouring rain
I pity the poor little stray
Who lost her way
In this pouring rain
I see
An image
That is me
