A Summer Morn Poem by John A. Hancock

A Summer Morn

Dew drops kiss green blades of grass
Cooing doves greet the brand new day
The rising sun dispels the stary sky
Whilst the dawn disolves the misty haze

A silent breeze tingles oh so softly
Garden flowers unfurl their bond of sleep
The silence breathes anticipation
As weeping willows play their part and weep

Sing to me oh Glorious morn
How I love your wonderous song
Spring your just a fleeting memory now
That summer finally has come along
