A Summer Storm Poem by Nicole GravellPellerino

A Summer Storm

Thick, heavy grey clouds
saturated with percipitation
gradually roll in
and fill the humid summer night

A waterall of raindrops
cascade down
upon the earth
in a well choreographed dance

Bright electically charged
flahes of light
quckly dart across
the never ending darkness

A wonderous light show
continually plays out
throught the evening
with no end near

Sharp loud cracks
shoot throught the night
waking
the lightest of sleeper

deep low rumbles
roll across the summer plaines
and meet the dawne
with a deep kiss
