We look for a sunny brighter day
So we may handle things that come our way
Learning how to deal and cope
So we may always learn to have hope

Trying to know where we stand
Reaching out for a helping hand
Knowing we are not always right
Learning how to deal and to fight

Hoping someone will really care
Because we open our hearts and share
Sharing things about our past
Trying not to feel as if we are an out cast

Feeling sad and sometimes all alone
Not really wanting to be shown
The reasons why our lives are a mess
We truly understand the reasons we must confess

But we look for sunny and brighter tomorrows
Without all the pains and sorrows
To reach out to others to brighten our day
To assist us in handling things that may come our way
