A Swan's Flight Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

A Swan's Flight

Rating: 5.0

Gracefully
Marvelous in
White

With glee

High
In the name
Of the heaven
Above,

Tenderly
With aplomb in
Flight

So Free

By
Full with flame
That is sudden
With love,

Unearthly
Moderate in
Light.

I see

Why
From its claim
Of joy, open
To shove

Soothingly
Liberty in
Sight

To be

Nigh
Wind that came
Placid often
Of dove

Modestly
So within,
Bright

To me,
Ply
With wings’ aim
Never taken
To glove.

brilliant poem sir.. loved the composition.. and about the swan...the more you say, the less it seems.. and the sight of a swan swimming in a lake is incomparable in elegance.. regards prashant

Beautiful words floating out like an exquisite Swan - what on water, can compete with it's grace and elegance. Well Captured Obinna
