A Sweet Fragrance Poem by Raymond Finnegan

A Sweet Fragrance

Never ending love novels.
Old replaced by the new,
an old kiss traded for a new one.

A wound
taped and concealed.

Will soon deteriorate and spill out.
Out onto the crystallized surface.

The body works in unison to an irritating long healing process...
unfolding the past into a hailing storm.
Descending tears of carelessness.

Swallow the unforgiving intoxicating manipulating chemicals.
A lovers touch an amphetamine circulating oxygen molecules.

Breathing LIFE!
