A Thirsty Butterfly Poem by Ave Lilik

A Thirsty Butterfly

A thirsty butterfly,
beautifully dressed,
kissed a daisy hungrily
and moved to a dandelion.
Away she flutters
and again she falters.
Daisy, poppy, dandelion, rose,
No bloom, nor blossom,
can satisfy her soul.
