A Thought For Tomorrow Poem by Charles J Sexton

A Thought For Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

A thought is running through my mind.
It comes back more and more.
Profound, enlightened, erudite -
It makes my spirit soar.
I knew I had to write this poem,
The thought was surely there.
A jewel racing through my brain -
A diamond solitaire.
A thought of such great magnitude,
Should not be soon forgot.
And so I have to write it down,
And grab it while it's hot!
But I don't have the time to write,
A poem that would be great.
So I'll just say the simple words -
"Do not procrastinate!"
