You know we wish these words weren't it
So baby can't you see?
How much I wish your bright green eyes
Were looking back at me
And we know this love's not perfect
But baby you sure are
So we'll let our love burn brightest
When wishing on this star
We both know we hate it
When love's so far apart
But baby you should probably know
You'll always have my heart
Doesn't matter where you're going
Or all that you will do
Just know I'll always be here
