The thoughts that come to my mind,
Are embedded in me for all time,
I cannot explain where love comes from,
But I know it's not perfect for everyone.

I have a Trace of love in me,
And that Trace of love has set me free.
I cherish it with all my heart,
It has given my life a brand new start.

Oh, Trace of love, filling me full of light
Trace of love making my heart glow bright
You are my savior and my emotions, you set a fire.
I feel you in my blood; you are my life's desire.

I cannot control how I feel, how the words flow out,
I want to stand up and tell the world, I want to shout.
I know it's only me and my thoughts are not shared,
But I it doesn't really matter, for my love I have declared.

I have found a Trace of love and its embedded in my soul,
And I am happy with life now, if all be truthfully told.
My spirit smiles and spreads the richness of my inner light,
Knowing that this Trace of Love will keep me warm at night.

My love is but a Trace, but it's a love that will hold together,
And although it's only a Trace of love, it's a love that will last forever.
For a Trace is all that I will ever need, there will never be a need for more
For with this tiny bit of love, to the heavens I will soar….
