A Tribute Poem by Ram Krishna Singh

A Tribute

Rating: 4.7

The world is too big
& my share seems so small
thank God my name’s alive
on the net they can find
my lyrics not read in print
though none care to comment
for academics to hail me
a poet for PhD

Lovely.... It's amazing. The poem highlights the need for being proud of and positive about what we do in our life. Why should we compare our achievements with those of others. We must have self-respect whatever be the situation. Thanks, Dear Poet.

Namaste Singh sahab, this net business is very interesting. It exists as well as it does not. All depends on putting the access on or off. I am taking liberty to freely communicate because of our same age etc. In my opinion whatever we do at this stage if for our own happiness. Other things like appreciation of our poems etc are just bye products. I liked your poem. It has created question mark in my mind too. Hence, abode dialogue. Do read my poems at your leisure. Thanks for sharing. Regards.

Thanks friend for stopping by this one. Yes, you're right. I know many of my poems published on various sites are no longer available. But I trust my poems shall survive on the net longer and reach out to a larger audience than the limited editions of the books. The postal expenses are so high that I can't send my books to so many people in various countries. Those who can't buy, they can read me on the net. Google zindabad!
