A Triumphant Arch

  You've set my feet firm.
Freed me from haunting fear.
Loosened my anger.
Let live and let it be.
First things first, slow down.
I came to believe.
Feelings of self pity slip away.
I comprehend serenity.
A triumphant arch, through which a free man passes.
Wisdom and courage, promises delivered.
Take all of me both good and bad.
Give me strength to go out from here.
The circle of friends has saved me.
