A Troubled Mind Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A Troubled Mind

Rating: 4.8

Who are these demons that dominate my life,
Harassing and annoying me day after day?
They may be a figment of the imagination,
But their tormenting tactics are here to stay.

They have control over everything I say or do,
My destiny is in their powerful hands,
Their wishes deeply imprinted in my mind,
Forcing me to join their ruthless bands.

They compel me to hate and remain unstable
Without an explanation as to why.
They own my soul completely without pity
As distressing thoughts continue to go haplessly by.

Think not of my misfortune as hopeless,
Someday, the demons will be on the run,
And the tormenting images will be gone forever,
As the lengthy struggle will be virtually won.

Hi Joseph, We all issues we haven't resolved (or demons) but just keep focused on happier times Joseph. It is not worth letting things eat you away. Take care.
