A True Love Poem by Barbara Blevins

I finally found true love,
It came from God on the wings of a dove.
And he said my child you are worthy,
And he said he had a crown of glory
just for me.
He took my broken heart and restored
it brand new,
He filled it with the Holy Spirit
and that was a love I never knew.
Now when I am weak he makes me
strong,
And I praise God with a new song.
There's no love in sin,
Thank the Lord he took me in.
He is the true love I've always
longed for,
I've found a true love now, and I'll
look no more.
