A Villanelle - Oh My Love!
All I want is your close embrace
Feel of your fingers through my hair
It feels so good, my heart will race;
I hunger for your deep caress
Your hot lips on mine if you dare
All I want is your close embrace;
Emptiness found deep, to replace
With your true love and tender care

Setting our desires, full ablaze
Hold me close, and let us both share;

I know, it reflects on your face
To delight in a love so rare

The highly structured villanelle is a nineteen-line poem with two repeating rhymes and two refrains. The form is made up of five tercets followed by a quatrain. The first and third lines of the opening tercet are repeated alternately in the last lines of the succeeding stanzas; then in the final stanza, the refrain serves as the poem's two concluding lines.
