A Walk To Remember Poem by Neha Kaushik

A Walk To Remember

A camaraderie that faded with passing time,

Wrangle manifested our relation's fragile side,
Acrimony filled our hearts and minds,
Leaving no room for explanations or, to apologize,
Knowing the fact that nothing was going right,

Trifling still we were in our own delight,
Obdurate minds knew that this could be the end,

Regardless, we continued to refute each other without penitence,
Extricating ourselves, in the end, from the encumbrance of this dead relation,
Momentary reminiscence still wet eyes and demands expiation,
Exacerbating the pain and suffering all this initiated,
Maudlin souls want things to be reinstated,
Bringing those joyous time back, for which we long,
Evolving into a strong and ever lasting bond,
Reveries of past give me hope, it isn't over yet for sure.
