A War Fought By Fallen Angles Hearts Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

A War Fought By Fallen Angles Hearts

How twisted are the hands of fate
That plays such a subtle role in our lives
It tweaks and twists our paths of fate
Till our lives are balanced once more
Yet what causes such imbalances in the first place?

The constant self-destruction we place on our selves
The disposal of emotions disregarded and tossed aside
It plagues our hearts and we’re the true lovers cry
The desolated souls whose wings have been torn

Why must they build up that desire and hope
Only to have it smash before their eyes
Oh how they laugh at our weakness
Yet what is it that is their weakness

The one that can help us heal
To push that misery into their hearts
Make them see the pain they caused us
Oh how I thirst for that wonderful vengeance
I know karma will catch up with them

So we the lost ones sit back and watch
All the sins unfold around us
With heavy hearts we remain true
Unfazed by the constant rejection we’ve received
Were the one’s who will stand tall
The ones who will persevere
Not the wicked ones

So compromise with density
And allow fate to step in
They’ll get what they deserve
And we’ll just sit back and smile
That vicious smile of triumph

They’ll fall one day
And we’ll bath in their blood
Crush their hearts like ours have fallen
And show them what it is they desire
How sick and twisted it truly is

Our hunger will fade
And the light will shine on
We’ll learn from all of this
And take on the world
Just one step at a time
