A Wave Poem by Stefanie Reyes

A Wave

A wave comes washing in
The foam suffocates you
The sea has come for it's revenge
Leaving blood everywhere
The foam overwhelms you
So as I sit here, I wonder
If you're sorry
I wonder if you're scared
As the waves hinder you from air
What an absolute nightmare
Though the sea has always set me free
It can't help to see what it sees
In you
A waves comes crashing in
The foam suffocates you
The sea has came
An eye for an eye
And a limb for a limb
A whirlpool of death
Spins you as you sink
Farther away from the sky
