A Wedding Present Poem by Maria Makeski

A Wedding Present

A white face
Is surrounded with darkness
The room where
Your ceremony will be held;

The blood of a virgin
Keep your dreams
From happening,
But never makes you
Give up from
Your intention;

She suddenly pulls out
A large knife
And stabs her
Already broken heart,
Screams painfully
In horror,
Calling for the white pigeons
To bring the angels
To pack her corpse
As your wedding present.
