A Wind Of Change Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

A Wind Of Change

There is a wind of change around you and,
I want to be your lover my sweet one;
So do remember the days of old and,
Think of the generations long past.

Listen oh earth to my poetry and,
Let my teachings fall upon you like rain!
For we belong to the mountains top where,
The eagles go out to play.

The law is eveident that one can pretend ignorance,
And of the teachings that touches you like the rain;
For i am from a city called Adam and,
You are enjoying the wind of change.

Along the seacoast of love,
If it can fit in then it is okay;
For i will treat you mercifully and faithfully my love,
And this scarlet cord is a sign between us.

I've got a long way on this love and,
I want to put my head down for a short nap;
But the butterflies will not allow me to sleep,
Because i saw your place of love afar off.

I will go yonder to worship you my love,
And like the varying spirits of men;
But, the wind of change does bath you all over.
