A Winning Walk Poem by Mark Walters

A Winning Walk

An overcoming life of grace
Is not won by warring will
When all hell attacks apace
I must let my thoughts distill

To rise above this deathly tide
When all that I hold dearest
Is pressed hard on every side
Demands a faith that's fearless

To rest in God's assurance
The footprints that I've pressed
In the sands of time's endurance
Are best walked at His behest
