A Winter’s Song

A winter’s Song
With its glistens bright
And a heart to long
Through a starry flight
Feelings of dark deep
In bluish moon light
Hours of yours to keep
Of winter's dark night

Hope is within my reach
Stealing its sentimental way
Something of a heart to teach
That brightens up each day
So much here to be done
With thoughts that don’t stay
To carry my feelings on
Before they return to gray

A winter’s theme
That carries me afar
Into a Milky Way dream
To catch a wishing star
Feelings toward each of you
Those now reach the same
In winter’s dark dim blue
Of yearnings winter’s flame
