A Winters Day Poem by Discreet Poetic

A Winters Day

Rating: 5.0

I see white flakes
As I look out the window
Falling, down, down, down
I see white flakes falling all around

I go outside and watch them desend
No feeling could possibly amend
The cool crisp air blowing around
The and the people rushing all over town

I button my coat to keep warm
And hope for spring when the bees swarm
But as for now it is a winters day
All I can do now is sit and wait

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I shiver and complain about the cold in the mornings. I blush to say it, because I live in California and I know our winters are so mild. I loved this poem, because it opened up another visage of winter for me.
