A Wish Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

A Wish

Rating: 5.0

If I had wings and could fly
I would not fly to the buoyant clouds
But crisscross the earth like a cool wind
That light up the old wrinkled face
Of a frail stooping women
Into a toothless smile.

An innovative write, with great imagery passing swiftly as the breeze, and bringing a bit of joy to the elders ones.
