A Wish
I wish to count all of the stars in the sky
Then watch the meteors course on by
Take a trip to the water side
Walk the shore at the ebbing tide
I want to dance and sing in the pouring rain
Chase the butterflies again and again
Hike a valley in the morning dew
Wade across a creek or two
Yet if I could have just one wish
I would ask of my love a single kiss
