A Woman Poem by Patti Masterman

A Woman

Rating: 4.8

A woman doesn’t fill a space;
She occupies a mood,
And although she may contemplate-
She will never brood.

A woman never speaks her mind;
She slips it through her pores,
And though unspoken, you will find-
You’ll notice it much more.

Though woman is no extrovert,
She’s someone dear to you;
As close to heaven as you’ll get-
And none as near, to you.

these lines made me chuckle (out loud, but not TOO loud) . She slips it through her pores, And though unspoken, you will find- You’ll notice it much more. this shall fit nicely into Section A of November's a showcase for PH poets. [section A is for poems 'not much more than 12 lines long...or 12 or less! ] bri :) and i'll slip it into MyPoemList with over 2000 more of your poems to chose from, i THINK i can find others for showcases.

The more the merrier. I always liked this poem. Poems are like strange quarks; don't know where they came from or where they might be heading.. and I am always making more, so you never need fear running out! hehe
