A Work In Progress Poem by Terrance Tracy

A Work In Progress

SOCIAL patterns of behavior of the past and present generation are subject to the present perception; unfairly applied by man you are justified or judged by one's opinion, not by your Redeemer.

The steps in which we fall is the last called to mind to which we are prescribed, conviction or redemption by all, in or out of fellowship with one another, forgetting our Redeemer is the one that judges all matters, given authority to our Redeemer a position granted by His Father.

Trample not underfoot the paid price of our disgrace liken to the sins of the Nicolaitans they took advantage in every place claiming we have grace.

On pedestals and alters we are on display, unjustly assigned this impossible task by our peers, for we are just a work in progress; repentant in spirit after the transgressions came into mind, the transgressor found his place on his knees asking for His amazing grace in due time.

Reborn of His spirit we walked not of the flesh but by His spirit, we are a work in progress every day of the week, let us bathe to refresh in His spirit for we are just a work in progress for his namesake.
