A World Without Love And Peace (To 11 July 2016 World Population Day) Poem by Felix Emeka George

A World Without Love And Peace (To 11 July 2016 World Population Day)

When I was a teenage girl
I imagined this world without love and peace,
The proliferation of stars
Would be beautiful no more
The animals and trees all gone.
And people see and hear no more,
The birds banished in space

Does God still controls this world,
A day comes that will be
The best in this world
Love will conquer all greed and aggression
Because in every headline all you see and read:
Confusion in the cities full of wars and dispute.
Met with bombing and Nuclear age taking over
The whole wide world full of earthquake, Sickness
Sisters selling themselves for money
The world is so full of starvation, poverty and
hunger making Brothers attack, kill brothers without reason.

Street factions, tribal wars, deaths
Bring tears and evoke blood and fear
Brought by hired genocides
Of tyrannical regime plan.

Now dialogue and diplomacy are ignored, love and peace cast aside
We seek reinstallment of the war feast,
These ceremonies of war are the cause of our sickness
Starvation and poverty.
Brings no solution
To enthrone true peace, unity, equality or equity.
Good health, hope, wealth
would be gotten in justice and peace.

We are the world,
Let us co-operate and make the change
And save this innocent world
From the hands of uncivilisation.
Yes the world dies without love and peace.
The children of innocence in torn clothes and filthy cladding.
Victims of disease because of health care bill.

Child labour, violent rape,
Kidnaps and cruelties towards womanity
Is this investment in girls?
A beautiful child who may not be your child
But is the world's

If the world's population sued for love and peace
Making no excuses but protects woman's life and love all the time
The world would be a unique place.
For you and me and the entire generation.
