A Writing Of The Word Poem by Rik Bertrand

A Writing Of The Word

I begin this writing with no thoughts in mind,
No understanding of what will come in time.
I set words to paper, and they have no meaning
But I know that in the end a life will be changed, because of them.

They are not set to rhyme, for they are words of heart.
I lay down my wisdom for you to pick up and run.
Capture me and take all that I have to offer, I am waiting.
Set me down lightly so that I may help others.

Wisdom comes and it lingers for a short time,
There must be an acceptor to take it and use it in time.
I give you one word that makes no since to your mind,
But you can use it to better the world and suspend life.

Do not try to understand these words that are written
For they mean nothing unless you know me in kind,
Decisions will be made for what you see here,
And the direction of all mankind will be decided upon

I Give you the word, I hand it to you and you must react
I lay it down for you to observe and then possess in your soul
Take it as you will, do with it as you must, but never forget
This word is your destiny, the path that leads to salvation.

I give you the word 'Divinity' define it without contempt,
For this word has the power and the will to survive all.
Do not think that the word alone is the power in life,
It is just a word, yet a word that if believed in can fulfill greatness.
