A Wrong Kind Of Love Poem by DJD Quick/dd

A Wrong Kind Of Love

I've been watching you for a while now
I've grown to love your face
When I see your little quirks and habits
They send my heart all over the place

I can't help but notice you
When you pass me by
I can't help talking to you
When your desk is next to mine

When you ask me for a pencil
Or like the time you liked my dress
My eyes were filled happiness
And my heart was at it's best

But I know that's all the talking that will ever be done
You are different and so am I
The chemistry is all wrong
Because I can hear within your voice
To you, I am just a really bad song.

Unfortunately I find this happens more than any of us wishes it would. O so true.
