Aaah-Pathetic Poem by Prionsías Ó Canáin

Aaah-Pathetic

Rating: 4.9

After angers expressive leaving, angst arrives.
Planting seeds of more imagined trivial pursuits
Assembling argument to assault envisaged lies
Taking prisoner of tortured fact and truths
Hubris beckons coyly to nemesis and sighs
Young blood boils quickly and bears such bitter fruits

You certainly packed each line with a lot of thought. Anger certaily leaves its trail of debris and becomes a trial of many things.

Aaaah Frank - this is one to read and read again, for all the young bloods who would do the same, were it not for your poetic ryhme. A great and wise verse.10 from Fay with hopes for more from you soon.

It is said that the true breeding of a person is amply displayed in the midst of any argument/ quarrel. Your poem illustrates this sentiment only too well and perfectly too. Thanks. arya

Pretty neat. I like your warped thinking (it only looks warped) .

A poet friend of mine once said: 'you know it's a good acrostic if it's not an obvious acrostic'...you've done great :) Great theme and skillfully rendered too.
