Abandoned Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Abandoned

It's hard to hear the pain in their voice, and see the sadness in
their eyes.. And know how much they struggle to get thru the day,
as they look up to the skies.. Trying to grasp the reality of having
no one to love them.. No one to call Mom or Dad, darkness
surrounds them, impossible to erase.. No one to shine a light
into their little hearts, no one to look inside.. Carry these words
with you my friends.. Reach out to those children in despair..
Start with small strokes, one child at a time, and build them into
a masterpiece of compassion for them all.. Care for them..
