Take away the dying cries
I'll never know how it would have sounded
Regret and shame
I'm bounded
Take the consequences
Forbidden to meet on earth
But maybe
One day in the heavens above
And hold you in my arms
Speak words of love
Keep you away from harms
Of my mistake
Please forgive me
My child
I was young
And vile
